Yet, those closeby might hear a whisper on the wind. Eagle-eyed viewers easily make out the sloth hidden behind, but the circle and large stripe across make no sense to people not in the know. It is an engraved piece of wood, similar to the tombstone, but smaller, and far more intricate. He lowers his head, offering a silent prayer, or perhaps thoughts, before leaving something of his own. He takes in the sight: flowers, lack of tombstone - it is too recent a passing - and the wooden plate with engraving that serves as it for now. Yet soon, he finds a trail, and picks up the pace, moving with purpose to end up in front of one of the most recent graves. It is as if he is looking for someone, but, being unfamiliar with this particular cemetery, he is momentarily lost. He moves with less purpose than usually seen. All the same, he leaves it open, though whether it is out of fear of the grating sound or out of negligence is unclear. Miraculously, no metal whine occurs as he does so. A man, nondescript, wearing sunglasses that were popular several summers ago, but were more likely picked up after that fact, opens a gate that has seen better days. Scene: a fairly average cemetery, basking in the last rays of the mid-autumn sun, 70 F and not a cloud in the sky. It's like it's getting hung up on something. I don't know if it's the game, or maybe the server, but it's weird that the game wouldn't even launch after an install. But now, when I go to load the game itself, it just gets stuck on the preparing to launch screen, so the game won't launch.Īt this point, I'm not sure what's going on. But goddamnit, I want to play the game, so I uninstall, and reinstall. Tried reloading a few times and same thing. At this point, I've stared at loading screens for an hour (and this is on xbox 1). I waited a while for that to see if something would happen, but it doesn't. It gets to the splash screen, but when I hit the button to continue to pull up the menu, it just loads the menu forever. I waited a long time for it to do something, but it doesn't. It's not frozen, as the spinny loading icon keeps spinning, but it doesn't advance. It just stays on the loading screen forever. I wait patiently for awhile, but nothing happens, and I'm not going to wait for an hour. I hoof it back to the car, hop in and out, they still don't appear. It's at the point that I realize my companions are nowhere to be found. Used the remnant console to open up the door leading to it. Made it to the giant ship, and cleared to the point where I have to retrieve a power core. Eitherway, sometimes they wouldn't load, like with the mission that has you meat a guy from some exile encampment that leads up to your first architect fight, it didn't load for me, so I had to reload the area and then he appeared.Īnyways, flash forward to today. A few of them were for quests, but most are just random outposts. Happened a bunch on Eos, where half the bases in the west would be unmanned. Firstly, I've had a problem a few times where enemies wouldn't load in an area. Probably the rubberbanding involved.Įdit: Also, the human kineticist throwing mobs off map seems super fun. The aoe on the gladiator's melee is super nice, but still just feels off. I really dislike Krogan vanguard and the headbutting animation just feels unwieldy. I opened up a Krogan Gladiator but I really don't enjoy any of the Krogan animations. And I really enjoy hopping around on different characters. I am getting them faster than I can use them, save for xp bonuses but that's because I'm slapping them on every game. I can outscore most people in bronze with my level 1 characters atm.īig thing is don't be afraid to use your powerups. But now that I have level X charger and most of my characters are starting out with 20+ points, it's a different story from a level 1, rank 1 weapons, no armor, 5 skill points total character.īut even then, hopping in with a charger and disruptor ammo can let you hold your own in silvers with safe play and blind shooting over cover at mobs. Of course it really depends on your character class and your items. I only don't hop into silvers at level 1 because it makes others uncomfortable. ![]()
